Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.
There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but the majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don’t look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn’t anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet. It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to generate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The generated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from repetition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

All Nestlight products are supplied in accordance with applicable Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and are intended for use within Australia only. Our lighting products are designed to comply with relevant Australian Standards; however, installation must be carried out correctly to ensure safety, performance and compliance. Nestlight products must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with all applicable local, state and federal electrical regulations. Proof of licensed installation may be required in the event of a warranty claim.
Legal Notice
Nestlight accepts no responsibility or liability for damage, loss, injury or malfunction arising from incorrect installation, unauthorised modification, misuse, or installation carried out by a person who is not a licensed electrician. Any installation performed contrary to these requirements may void the product warranty. Retailers, installers and end users are responsible for ensuring the product is suitable for its intended application prior to installation.
This warranty is provided in addition to any rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
Warranty and Returns Policy
Nestlight products come with a 12-month back-to-base warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing faults and defects under normal residential use. Under this warranty, customers are required to return the product to Nestlight (or an authorised service centre nominated by Nestlight) for assessment. At Nestlight’s discretion, the product will be repaired or replaced if a manufacturing fault is confirmed. Installation, removal and reinstallation costs are not covered under this warranty.
In the event of a warranty claim, customers must first lodge a claim with Nestlight customer support. Once approved, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number will be issued. Products returned without a valid RMA number will not be accepted. Customers are responsible for ensuring products are securely packaged when returned. Nestlight is not responsible for damage incurred during transit.
Change-of-mind returns are not accepted for products that have been installed or attempted to be installed. This includes products that have been hardwired, modified or used in any way. Uninstalled products may only be eligible for return if approved in writing by Nestlight and returned in original, unused condition.
Delivery
Nestlight dispatches orders Australia-wide via reputable courier services only. Handling time is 1–2 business days from order confirmation, excluding weekends and public holidays. Once dispatched, estimated delivery times typically range from 2–7 business days, depending on your location and courier service conditions. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to factors outside of our control, including peak periods, regional or remote delivery locations, and courier delays.
All orders are shipped directly from our warehouse. Pick-up services are not available under any circumstances. Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details are accurate at the time of purchase. Nestlight is not liable for delays, lost parcels, or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete address information supplied by the customer.
